WithBaxter was founded in 2020 — not as a photography studio, but as a digital creative practice. The early work was in social media management, websites, branding and strategy. The camera came next, but the strategic brain never left.
That origin matters. Most commercial photographers understand light, composition and editing. What's rarer — and what I bring — is an understanding of how visuals perform. How a hero image functions on a website. What makes a social post stop a scroll. Why brand consistency across platforms builds trust faster than any single brilliant shot.

Before WithBaxter, my career moved through Sport & Exercise Science, coaching, education and Health & PE teaching. It's an unconventional background for a creative — but it's exactly why I work the way I do. Teaching gave me the ability to listen first, then translate. Coaching gave me a strategic, goal-oriented lens. Science gave me the habit of asking why something works, not just whether it looks good.
Today, WithBaxter is a full commercial creative studio — photography, videography, social media partnerships and website visual direction — built for brands and businesses who are serious about the way they show up. We're based in the South West of WA because this place is extraordinary, and the businesses here deserve visuals that match it.
